About Us
Girls in Data is a charity dedicated to empowering girls to explore and succeed in data. We are building a digital platform powered by Dynamics 365 and Power Pages to support our community, programmes, and growth.

The Role:
We’re looking for a Business Analyst to help translate ideas into clear, structured requirements that guide the development of our CRM and website. You’ll work closely with the team and collaborate with trustees to brainstorm, shape goals, and define requirements, playing a key role in turning our vision into a well-functioning platform. We welcome both junior and experienced contributors who are organised, curious, and enjoy problem-solving. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Facilitate discussions with trustees and team members to understand goals and needs
  • Help shape ideas into clear, actionable requirements
  • Document user stories, processes, and functional specifications
  • Map end-to-end processes and user journeys
  • Work closely with engineers, designers, and data volunteers
  • Help prioritise features and improvements
  • Ensure solutions align with user needs and organisational goals
  • Support testing and validation of new features 

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

  • ​Interest or experience in business analysis, product, or delivery
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills
  • Ability to structure ideas and guide discussions 
  • Confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders 
  • Ability to work independently in a remote team 

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Dynamics 365 or CRM systems and Power Platform 
  • Familiarity with Agile, user stories, or backlog management
  • Experience mapping processes or user journeys
  • Exposure to data or reporting concepts
  • Interest in social impact or education

Time Commitment
We ask for approximately  2–5 hours per week, with flexibility depending on your availability.
