Power BI Developer (Operational & Programme Reporting)

About Us
Girls in Data is a charity dedicated to empowering girls to explore and succeed in data. We are building a digital platform powered by Dynamics 365 and Power Pages to support our community, programmes, and growth.

The Role:
We’re looking for a Power BI Developer to help us track and understand how our organisation and programmes are performing.
This role focuses on operational reporting and insights, turning CRM and programme data into clear, useful dashboards that support decision-making.
We welcome both  junior and experienced contributors who are excited to use data for social impact. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Build dashboards to track operational and programme metrics
  • Building wireframes for first build and roadmap product
  • Analyse volunteer pipelines and engagement
  • Report on programme delivery and outcomes
  • Work with CRM data from Dynamics 365 / Dataverse
  • Support stakeholders with data-driven insights
  • Help define and standardise key metrics and reporting structures

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

  • Experience with Power BI (or similar data visualisation tools)
  • Interest in reporting, operations, or business insights
  • Basic understanding of data modelling and dashboards
  • Experience in Data Visualisation and storytelling
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly
  • Ability to work independently in a remote team
  • Experience in creating dashboard wireframes

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of CRM data and reporting
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 / Dataverse data and Power Pages
  • Experience working with stakeholders or requirements
  • Interest in social impact or education

Time Commitment
We ask for approximately 3–5 hours per week, with flexibility depending on your availability.
