About Us
Girls in Data is a charity dedicated to empowering girls to explore and succeed in data. We are building a digital platform powered by Dynamics 365 and Power Pages to support our community, programmes, and growth.
The Role:
We’re looking for a UI/UX & Product Designer to help shape the end-to-end experience of our platform from user journeys and research to interface design and content.
You’ll play a key role in making sure our website and CRM experience are intuitive, engaging, and accessible for the volunteers and supporters who interact with our platform, ultimately helping us better support the girls we serve.
We welcome both junior and experienced designers who are passionate about creating meaningful, user-centred experiences.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Design clear and engaging user journeys across our website and CRM
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new features
- Design navigation, layout, and overall usability to be build on Power Pages
- Contribute to content structure and messaging to ensure clarity and accessibility
- Conduct user research (e.g. feedback sessions, surveys)
- Collaborate closely with engineers and stakeholders to bring designs to life
- Help establish simple design standards or guidelines for consistency
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- Experience in UI/UX or product design
- Ability to think in terms of user journeys and user needs
- Basic skills in wireframing and layout design (e.g. Figma or similar tools)
- Understanding of usability and accessibility principles
- Ability to work independently in a remote team
Nice to have:
- Experience with user research or usability testing
- Experience designing for web platforms or portals
- Interest in content design and branding
- Familiarity with low-code platforms like Power Pages
- Passion for social impact, or increasing diversity in data

Time Commitment
